Field Trips

A day of Adventure AND Fun!

At Donald E. Scott Colorado Adventure Point (CAP) we have a 20,000-square-foot community adventure education facility designed to promote essential skills and a love of adventure. It includes a two-story rock-climbing wall, archery, technology, and culinary lab and so much more!

Whether you a school group, another youth serving organization, or a homeschool group, CAP is excited to host hands on activities that will challenge and inspire youth. Field trips are designed for non-scouting groups to attend amazing programs during the weekdays (Mon-Fri).

Go on an urban adventure! Choose between activities that challenge and teach new skills! (Each activity will take 45 minutes to 1 hour)

  • Climbing
  • Archery
  • BB Guns
  • Leatherwork
  • Wilderness Survival

Cost is $5 hour per youth attending. (1 hour= $5/youth, 2 hours=$10/youth, 3 hours=$15/youth…)

We need a minimum of 10 participants to run a program. If cost is a barrier, we offer flexible pricing to better serve the groups we are working with. Adults are free. We request a 1:10 chaperone to youth ratio.

Age Restrictions:  Participants must be at least in Kindergarten to participate in Archery, and at least in 1st grade to participate in the BB range. Those participants K-1st grade will need an adult to help them on the ranges
