BSA Participants- Remember, you will need to meet your Youth Protection requirements and Guide to Safe Scouting ratio’s. Starting Sept 1st, 2023 all adults staying overnight in connection to a Scouting activity must be currently registered as an adult volunteer or program participant. There are exceptions for Cub Scouts and parents staying overnight with their scout. Please review the new guidelines under “Adult Supervision” in the Guide to Safe Scouting.

Please click the ‘Schedule Your Adventure’ button below to choose your date, time and activities from our Reservation calendar.

A deposit of $175 (the cost of 5 participants) is required at the time of reservation. All reservations need to have a final participant count and be paid in full two weeks prior to event. Please note that significant additions in participant numbers may not be accommodated inside of two weeks due to building use and staffing. Colorado Adventure Point is a multi-use facility. Other groups may be in the building at the same time in other areas, but each activity area will only be used by your group during your time.

FAQ

We ask that you confirm the total number of participants at least 2 weeks prior to your event taking place. This is to ensure proper staffing. We cannot guarantee accommodating last minute participants.

We need a minimum of 5 participants to run an Overnight and our maximum number we can accommodate in a night is 64.

While groups do have the choice of pitching tents in the courtyard many choose to sleep indoors on the floor of our big conference room. With that, below is our recommended packing list:

  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Sleeping Pad
  • Water Bottle
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Extra Set of Clothes (Weather appropriate, watch the forecast)
  • Something to sleep in (PJs)

We ask groups show up 15 minutes prior to the event to check in and fill out a waiver. Once inside folks can set down their belongings and settle their space.

Chosen activities will run from 6pm-9pm. After the activities the group has the choice to roast marshmallows outside for s’mores and watch a movie before bunking down for the night.

We have laptops onsite available to connect via HDMI to a projector or TV set-up. We can set the group up with a laptop and ask that someone from the group logs into a steaming service to find a movie.

Otherwise, we have a small selection of DVDs groups can choose from.

Groups can choose to bring their own laptops, which we can use to connect to our projector/TV.

Absolutely! We just ask that you leave the space as you found it.

The following morning the group is welcome to use our Kitchen to breakfast and store any food they might bring. Currently we have a small fridge space and a big freezer for food storage. Coffee and fixings are also available in the kitchen use.

Groups are on their own in the morning and can stay up until 8:30am, which is when the next day’s activities start-up. If you need a later check-out please reach out to lizzy.dowd@scouting.org to try to schedule that.
